Blushing!

The lovely, gorgeous, generous, fantastically talented Twiggy Pea Sticks has nominated me for an Arte y Pico award. I'm so flattered - and more than a bit embarrassed because she actually nominated me on her blog over a week ago but I've been so behind on my blog reading that it's taken me until now to stop by and see it (blame the fact that I'm asleep by 9.30 every night!) Here's the definition of the award and the rules (as artfully pinched from Twiggy's blog!)

"The definition of "Arte y Pico" (Art & More) is an award that is given to bloggers who share their art and creativity making their contribution to the blogger world.

Now I have to :

1)Pass it on to 5 more bloggers who deserve this award for creativity, design and interesting materials as well as their contribution to blogland.

2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.

3) Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.

4) Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of "Arte y Pico" blog , so everyone will know the origin of this award.

5) To show these rules.

As I recently received a 'You make my day' award and passed it to 10 of my favorite bloggers, I thought I should pass this one onto 5 others who I read regularly. Here goes:

Alice at Raspberry - lovely, lovely, lovely bags.
Manda at Tree Fall - I love her writing and her honesty. Not to mention that her fabric creations are completely beautiful.
Lisa at U-Handbag - I was almost too star stuck to pass this award onto Lisa - her blog is so fantastic and was what really got me hooked on making bags and blogging. She has so many fantastic tutorials on her blog that it's almost an embarrassment of riches. Plus her website offers a great range of bag making supplies.

Obviously there are tons of other blogs that inspire me and I read avidly and it's been really hard to choose just five - in fact I feel quite guilty that I can't mention more!

Hey!! I was out of town for a while and it is so nuce to come back to your blog and catch up. I ust might try that Hulk drink--and the bag is sooo pretty!!
