Ok, I know there's no such thing as baby knitting that isn't cute! But I just think this baby cardigan from the RYC classic babies pattern book is so gorgeous! It was very easy to knit and the shoulder detail makes the simple shape really stand out. I've gone with the colours suggested in the book - my friends haven't told anyone whether they're having a girl or a boy so the pale green's a nice neutral colour. The main yarn is baby cashsoft Double Knitting with is very tender and smooth and beautiful to work with. The chicks are knitted in Kidsilk haze worked at double thickness so they give that nice fluffy effect.
I've some of the main yarn left over so I'm making some cute little crochet'd booties. My friend's due date is only 2 weeks away and we're all so excited. I'm really looking forward to giving her the cardigan - she's promised not to read the blog over the weekend so that I can post the pictures up before she get's the cardigan in person!
In plain English, he means Uncle Sam will get stuck with the debt when banks blow up. The fact that happened in the recent cycle is a major cause of the rising debt that seems so alarming to those who demand immediate cuts in spending totally unrelated to the financial crisis.
